課程概述

This course serves as an introduction to pharmacoeconomics. Students will be given knowledge of basic concepts of pharmacoeconomics. This course is intended to offer techniques to graduate students in clinical pharmacy to read and interpret cost-effectiveness studies. 

課程目標
 The students will be able to:
1. understand the relationship between health care policy and health care economics
2. identify and define terminology and basic components of economic and outcomes research
3. explain basic methods to measure and value treatments

 Class participation & discussion: 15%
Student presentation: 55%
Final report: 30%
